Toyota's Royal Family: The Crown

A Hybrid Unlike Any Other

Toyota's Royal Family: The Crown
Toyota has always placed a focus on style and technology, and the Toyota Crown continues the tradition into 2025.

Distinguished Design

Built with top-notch craftsmanship, and standing on standard 19-inch wheels (or optional 21-inch) the Crown stands tall, giving drivers a great view of the road. Designers did this without sacrificing ease of entry since the hip point is about 25 inches off the ground.

Leading the charge is Toyota’s signature hammerhead fascia with daytime running lights, adding to the Crown’s classy and striking look. Customization from the factory is easy thanks to lots of exterior colour options including Oxygen White, Bronze Age, Heavy Metal, Supersonic Red, and Storm Cloud. For something extra special look into the bi-tone paint jobs available on the Platinum trim.

Inside the cabin drivers and passengers are greeted with unique colour combos and standard leather-trimmed seats. You'll also find a full digital display, piano key controls, a vertical wireless charging port, and the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system, complete with an available 11-speaker JBL® Premium Audio system.

All-new for 2025 customers can drive off in the Toyota Crown Nightshade Edition; featuring dark badging, black handles and matte black 21-inch rims.

Driven To Perform

The 2025 Toyota Crown comes in four trims: XLE, Limited, Nightshade, and Platinum. It is only available with All-Wheel Drive and customers have an option of two hybrid powertrains. The Toyota Hybrid System (THS) or the robust Hybrid MAX, which is exclusive to the Platinum grade.

Toyota has introduced the Hybrid Max for drivers who want their hybrid to handle like a performance vehicle. It combines front and rear electric motors with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and a direct-shift 6-speed automatic transmission.

Hybrid MAX delivers powerful torque at low RPM for a sporty, exhilarating driving experience and achieves an EPA-estimated 30 MPG combined city/highway fuel economy rating.

Standard Safety Features

All 2025 Crown come with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 which includes;

  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection: Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) is designed to help detect a vehicle, pedestrian, bicyclist, or motorcyclist and provide an audible/visual forward-collision warning under certain circumstances. If you don’t react, the system is designed to provide automatic emergency braking.
  • Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control: Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is an adaptive cruise control system that is designed to be set at speeds above 20 mph. DRCC uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control to help maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist: Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) detects lane markings or the road’s edge at speeds above 30 mph. LDA w/SA is designed to provide an audible/visual warning if an inadvertent lane departure is detected. If no corrective action is taken, Steering Assist is designed to provide gentle corrective steering for lane-keeping assistance.
  • Lane Tracing Assist: Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) is designed to help keep the vehicle in the center of a lane. LTA assists the driver with steering control while DRCC is in use.
  • Road Sign Assist: Road Sign Assist (RSA) uses the forward-facing camera to recognize specific road signs, such as speed limit, stop, and yield signs. RSA provides sign information to the driver via the Multi-Information Display.
  • Automatic High Beams: Automatic High Beams (AHB) is designed to detect headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of preceding vehicles. AHB automatically toggles between high and low beams as appropriate.
  • Proactive Driving Assist: Proactive Driving Assist (PDA) uses the vehicle’s camera and radar, when system operating conditions are met, to provide gentle braking and/or steering to support driving tasks such as distance control between your vehicle and a preceding vehicle, pedestrian, or bicyclist. PDA can also provide gentle braking into curves.
